Which of the following does not refract light as it passes through the eye?

A. Cornea

B. Aqueous humor

C. Lens

D. Retina

The correct answer is (D). The cornea, aqueous humor (between the cornea and lens), and lens each refract light as it passes through them. The result of this refraction is that the image is focused onto the receptors of the retina. The retina itself does not refract light.
